So, Where do I begin? I’m 24 years old and currently just graduated from teachers college…so I am currently unemployed…BOO! Looking for a job at the moment. ☺ I started this blog awhile back and stopped for a while and now I am back. I love fitness and health and I am always looking for new recipes and new information on getting fit and staying fit!

I really believe that what works for one person may not work for another; therefore I just try to follow what works best for me. I do not eliminate any food groups but rather my philosophy is that you should be able to sustain this type of eating forever not just temporarily.

I try to eat frequently, 6 meals a day which consist of a lean protein such as chicken, fish, and also beef on the odd day as well as a complex carbohydrate such as sweet potatoes, whole grain rice and if I have any in my cupboard quinoa ( a lot like couscous) and tons of veggies. Do I eat like this everyday…no. Do I try to…yes!

This will be a journey where you can read about my struggles with my fitness, nutrition and everything in between and also about my successes. I look forward to keeping you updated on my progress and hope that this blog can offer you something useful too ☺
